Nagano Prefecture is blessed with harsh yet beautiful nature, embraced by majestic mountains.
While preserving the traditions nurtured over its long history, Nagano Prefecture ranks first in Japan as a prefecture to which people would like to move. The food culture of Shinshu, which is the basis of health and longevity, and the diverse climate with its unique regional characteristics and the lifestyle of the people of Shinshu are now attracting attention from all over the world.
Ginza NAGANO was established in 2014 to deliver the charms of Shinshu, and is an information dissemination base connecting the Tokyo metropolitan area and Nagano. It creates bonds between people through a variety of functions, including stores, event space, immigration/employment counseling, and tourist information.
The space has been renewed and enhanced for its 10th anniversary. Whether you have a connection to Nagano or not, please stop by to take a breather and feel home.

Bringing the beautiful and healthy lifestyle of Shinshu
Anyone can easily bring it into their daily life.
The entire first floor is a store space “connected by products”. Here, you will find world-class products from Nagano Prefecture, such as “food from Shinshu,” nurtured by the rich natural environment, and “crafts and sundries from Shinshu,” created by the skills of artisans. The spacious and bright store is made of Kiso cypress and other Shinshu timbers, and is barrier-free. Anyone can enjoy shopping in a relaxed atmosphere.

Enjoy Shinshu's famous sake in a casual atmosphere,
and bring Shinshu closer to you through events.The 2nd floor, connected to the 1st floor by a staircase, is divided into two spaces as “the floor connected by koto”. This is a space where visitors can taste and purchase NAGANO WINE and Japanese sake, which Shinshu is proud to offer to the world. Visitors can enjoy casual tastings with coin-operated servers. In the large event space at the back of the building, cooking classes, tastings, and other events that bring Shinshu closer to you are held from time to time, making use of the open kitchen.

The 5th floor is a “human connection floor” equipped with consultation services for immigration, employment, and tourist information. In order to make your dream of “living in Shinshu” come true, “Shinshu Lifestyle Guides” will support your immigration to the area. There are several semi-private consultation booths, allowing for individual consultation in privacy. At the tourist information corner, knowledgeable staff members provide travel advice and seasonal tourist information, and a selection of tourist pamphlets for each municipality are available. Events are also held in the large space.
